Richard currently serves as OSIsoft's Chief Technology Officer focused on long term strategic planning, business and technology alignment, strategic partnerships and alliances, and research and innovation programs, He has spent his career creating and delivering industry-leading software for process industries. Richard stays grounded in process manufacturing and retail as a partner in Mr. Dewie’s Cashew Creamery starting in early 2015, exploring small scale process and retail optimizations through IoT and Analytics. Looking at today's challenges, Richard continues exploring the benefits of employing operations information technology for societies, communities and industry to better understand and manage their relationship with resources, industries and commerce with the goal of helping these greater systems to thrive. Richard joined OSIsoft in 1990 after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
