Praveen has extensive background in Corporate Business Development, Strategy, Venture Capital, General Management, and Product Development. He is currently Vice President of Corporate Investment & Development at HTC focused on investments, M&A, and partnerships. His current focus areas are Virtual/Augmented Reality, Smartphone, Wearable, and IoT related technologies. He held similar role at SK Telecom with focus on Mobile technologies. While at CDIB Ventures, Praveen was involved in raising 2 VC funds and made several successful equity investments in early to growth stage Enterprise Software, Internet, Infrastructure, & Semiconductor companies. Additionally, Praveen has deep technical background in communications, retail, and energy industries with Lucent, Ericsson, Fujitsu-ICL, and Halliburton. Praveen has an MBA and Masters degrees in Physics, EE, and Computer Science from reputed institutions in India and the U.S.
