Neel Sen

Neel drives Emerging Technology Innovation within the 5G Ecosystem team at Verizon Wireless. He works with Accelerators, Incubators, Research Labs, Startups, Academia, and Innovation Centers to scout prospective partners for applications that can leverage the low latency, high bandwidth infrastructure of 5G cellular. Prior to Verizon,majority of Neel's career was at Cisco Systems at Research Triangle Park, NC from early 2001 to end of 2016. His career progressed from technical roles to a more strategic role as a product manager driving the development of the Desktop Tele-presence hardware platforms like DX80/70 connected to Cisco's Cloud collaboration platform which was a conglomeration of WebEx, Jabber, and Tele-Presence technologies. Neel dealt with numerous technology domains ranging from Cloud platform, Mobile Apps, WebEx, Android Platform, Android Compliance, VoIP, App marketplace, Embedded Linux devices, Hardware and Software partners in OEM, JDM engagements, and High-Availability for Cisco Edge routers.

Neel has a Masters in Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg.
