Jim Petranovich is Senior Director of Technology for the Satellite Services group of ViaSat based in Carlsbad, California. In this capacity, Jim is engaged in satellite system design, communications systems engineering, and algorithm development. Jim has led many developments for satellite, terrestrial, and wired communications systems with over 40 issued US patents.
