Dr. Farooq Khan is currently President of Samsung R&D America in Dallas, TX, where he manages research in the areas of wireless communications, RF/Antenna, Analog/ sensors and mobile services. Dr. Khan received the MS degree in electrical engineering from Ecole Superieure d’Electricité in Paris, France, and a Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from the Université de Versailles, France. Previously, Dr. Khan held research positions with Bell Laboratories in New Jersey and Ericsson Research in Sweden. He has authored more than 40 research papers and holds over 100 U.S. patents. He also authored a book, “LTE for 4G Mobile Broadband: Air Interface Technologies and Performance.”
