Alex launched his career with a novel multiprocessor application design that improved industrial control systems resulting in multi-million dollar savings to a major US company. He went on to take a management role that led telecommunications development of products for national and international telephone companies. More recently, he was project manager for a global market research effort to quantify and qualify network connected device for Microsoft. Today, his responsibility at Itron Idea Labs is to produce economic business models that confirm or disprove the application of IoT network based devices, software and outcomes. Alex is a commercially rated pilot, and enjoys photography, real-time autonomous control systems for drones and staying ahead of technology that shapes future business opportunities.
